Can't remember the exact day we hiked this trail, but a couple weeks ago. Nice little trail for some winter exercise. Definitely recommend micro-spikes or some type of traction. Very slick in areas. Hauled snowshoes but never needed them. Arrived at trail head about 9:30 and parking lot was full. I'm not used to hiking in this area (usually hike the Olympics) so was surprised by the amount of people...pretty much a steady stream to the top. As others have mentioned, check avalanche danger before venturing out.
