My wife & I Camped at Takhlakh Lake in mid August 2016, We hiked the Takh Takh Meadows Trail, Chain of Lakes Trail & the Takhlakh Lake trail. All three trails were easy day hikes near Takhlakh Lake. Actually two of the trails start at the lake.
