Trip Report

Riverside State Park - Deep Creek Canyon — Sunday, May. 7, 2017

Eastern Washington > Spokane Area/Coeur d'Alene
The trail starts at the left of parking lot means south end of the parking lot (not signed), not from the gate and the wide path at the north end (ironically, there was a Trail 25 sign on the left hand side of this path which I took). Either way, one can more or less trace this circular trail clockwise (per guide above) or counterclockwise (I did inadvertently). Though counterclockwise, one has to know when to "get off" Trail 25. I had phone signal and google map saved the day. Deep creek and Coulee creek are both in wading depth, and I waded in them 3 times to stay on the route (one could detour to roads as other have suggested). Rock hopping is probably 2 weeks away depending how much rain we're getting.
