Trip Report

Lord Hill Regional Park — Saturday, May. 13, 2017

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

Green, green, and more green. All this spring rain is working magic on the park.

A mountain bike club was finishing up a group ride as I arrived. They looked a little muddy but satisfied with their ride. There's lots of room to spread out here. I hiked about 8 miles and only ran into 4 groups. .

There was a crew working on the midway path today. Nice job with the gravel!  I could have used a machete on a couple trails. The plants are really taking over but it just made for more fun.

A number of cute little brown mice crossed our path today.  Mice and slugs and lots of birds singing. Love it!
