Keep this short since prior reports say it all. Stunning! Flowers not all quite in full bloom but plenty still, especially yellows. Avoid weekends and yes get to the main parking lot before 9:00 am if you can. Lunch at the top was perfect. Sunscreen and a day pack and you'll love it. Watch weather forecasts for the those gorge winds and rain fronts. Worth the hard rating this trail has.
