Wallace Falls State Park — Tuesday, May. 23, 2017

We had a glorious day hiking at Wallace Falls.  Going on a Tuesday morning, we were able to avoid the weekend mob scene that others have written about (yay, retirement!).  There was a bus load of school children there but the kids went a different route than we did so we enjoyed some quiet time.  The falls are really thundering right now with all the snowmelt and the river is running very full and fast.  So glad we went! The only minor obstacles were some muddy spots about a mile in.
