Explorer Falls — Saturday, May. 27, 2017

North Cascades > Mountain Loop Highway

We had an excellent hike with our 5 year and 3 year old.  With many colored butterflies, insects buzzing around, flowers blooming, kids were engaged through out.  At certain points, its bit tricky to cross the creek or get over the obstacles, kids just had fun doing these one off adventures.

Trial directions were bit unclear which made it more interesting (in a nice way), google maps helped.  On the maps, exact fall location is marked, so used it in drive mode until trail head and switched to walk mode.  Our fitness tracker measured one way distance just under 2 miles, just be prepared for it.
