It was a good day for a hike. The trail up was a little muddy but passable. There is a tree down over the trail, easy to duck under. Shortly after the downed tree we ran into melting snow. The trail to the lake is not bad. We walked around the lake. The back side snow can cave in so be careful Several of us fell into sink holes on the back side.
We did see lots of people with kids heading up and even some swimmers.

We're the campsites around the left side of the lake covered in snow? Or any campsites not covered in snow.

Fizban on Heather Lake
There was a family camping on the right side as you approach the lake. I did not check out the left side sites but there is still a bit of snow at the top.
