Greenwater Trail to Lost Lakes — Friday, Jun. 2, 2017

Mount Rainier Area > Chinook Pass - Hwy 410
First bridge on trail. its got a good lean to it but safe to cross.

Trail is in ok shape. Leaning bridges or no bridges at all! the hike to greenwater lakes is easy, the first bridge is leaning pretty good but passable. recommend one person at a time though. parts of the trail are flooded due to warm weather last week.

if you plan on going past second greenwater lake (echo lake or lost lake) the bridge is not accessible  due to high water and fast currents. 20 yards up stream is a place to cross. two fallen trees cross the creek and are wide enough to walk on.

Intermittent snow on the way to Quinn and Lost lakes. A few fallen trees to navigate around but nothing difficult.

snow before you reach quinn lake

Jasper & the Girl Scouts on Greenwater Trail to Lost Lakes

Hi Curious George: Thanks for info-I am taking my Girl Scout troop up to either Echo or Lost Lake in 2 weekends. Are the campsite areas obvious? Plentiful for arriving mid afternoon on a Saturday? Outhouses? Thanks! Ellen G.
