We had a late start at Lake Serene/Bridal Veil Falls, which was fine considering sunlight lasts a lot longer this time of year but started hiking at the peak of trail traffic. There were so many great dogs on the trail and a decent number of families with kids as well. The trail is great but rocky, the stairs were appreciated and snow free, just a little muddy in some sections. We took a number of short breaks before reaching Lake Serene. The congestion is generally at Bridal Veil Falls, so if you're not eager to deal with crowds, you can get a good view of the falls on the bridge to Lake Serene. (I'm almost 100% that it's the same waterfall). Also, a PSA: please don't smoke in the woods. It's super inconsiderate.
