Snow-free trail until after the bridge. Then just a few small snowfields easily negotiated on the switchbacks up until as the trail flattened out a bit at about 4 miles - probably just before Harrison Lake. At this point the snow became continuous and the trail hard to discern. A party coming back indicated they had not been able to find a route to the ridge so we decided to call it a day since it was clouded in and views would have been minimal. Still a very nice hike.
