Be advised: Trail is either muddy bog or slippery slush and there's lots of boot paths that make it hard to know where to go, even as an experienced hiker. Slippery and a lot of postholing. I don't recommend this for hikers who aren't experienced, haven't done this before/aren't following a map, or don't have proper gear. Possibility of slipping, postholing to injury or getting lost is a concern. Waterproof shoes, gaiters wouldn't hurt, had microspikes on but still slipped a bunch. Warm weather in the city but wet, chilly and socked in on the mountain, visibility tough at times. Lookout is open but shutters are still down. Saw a lot of ppl in tennis shoes and cotton today, maybe because a past trip report said they saw people in tennis shoes but I wanted to make sure I wrote a report so everyone had a clearer picture of what to expect. Snow starts about halfway in.
