It was cool at the parking lot 55 degrees and threatening to rain but never did.
There were some motorcycles at the parking lot but we never encountered any on the trail.
The trail had a few spots with standing water but not a big deal.
We made it to Lost lake then pushed on to Manastash lake.
We had lunch at Manastash Lake. We could see the set of benches to sit on across the lake but did not have time to hike to them. Good reason to go back.
We encountered a set of horse back riders while we were having lunch.
According to my Fitbit it was around 6.5 miles round trip
