Two friends and I hiked in Friday night. It took a couple hours to get to the lake. The mesquitos were prevalent. So bug juice was a must.
The trail was in good shape there were several creek crossings. Most were shallow enough to walk right through. There is one crossing over a large log.
There were two other camps at the lake. One next to ours and one at the other end of the lake.
We saw a couple deer (one did some swimming that night), beavers and mergansers with chicks. My buddies tried fishing with no avail.
We hiked out the next morning and met MANY hikers. When we got to the parking lot is was FULL.
Nice hike and a beautiful two days.
