I arrived at the trailhead parking lot at 2pm and there were 3-4 parking spots available.
I hiked the trail solo and at almost all times could at least hear other hikers — a much loved trail. Fortunately you can hear water falls/streams most of the way up. I passed dozens of hikers and dogs — most quite friendly.
It is a beautiful hike and the lake is clear and a gem. A perfect place for families to hike and enjoy a lakeside picnic.
