Beaver Lake — Friday, Jul. 14, 2017

We stopped here at the end of our day and took the trek out to the lake. Couple other cars in the lot when we arrived but one woman I think had just stopped to talk on her phone. Trail starts out nice and easy, very flat. Lots of trees covered in moss, can hear the river in the distance. There's little bridges that go over the many streams that run off into the river. A few muddy places, but nothing too bad although was wishing I brought my poles getting down a few of the washout areas. Before long you reach the lake, which I didn't find terribly impressive. A couple of guys were there fishing with their dog. Bugs were awful despite spraying ourselves down a couple times. Beautiful views of twin peaks and surrounding mtns.
