Arrived at trailhead around 9:30am on a beautiful Saturday morning. Parking lot was moderately crowded but mostly tourists at the paved viewing areas. As other's mentioned, I put my American the Beautiful NP pass on my dashboard of my car with no problems (the visitor center was not open yet). Wildflowers were in full bloom and amazing. Overall, a great hike with beautiful views.
You are exposed for the entire hike so bring lots of water, sunscreen and good coverage.
