Lord Hill Regional Park — Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017

Damn this infernal smoke! I'd had enough and went out to Lord Hill for a hike. 

Berries are ripe, but you need to be taller than a deer to find ones that haven't been eaten yet.

Trails are in good shape but the horse poop is starting to pile up on many of them. Hiking down River trail was just obnoxious as the path is very narrow and there's horse poop all over the place.

Parking lot was 'full' (meaning 10 poorly parked people managed to take up all of it) however when I got back to my car around noon it was empty. I don't think I've ever seen that lot empty before.

Weird. I went there this afternoon (Friday) expecting a full lot, and there were only two cars. Didn't see anyone on the trails...
