After a walk through the John Wayne Tunnel we decided to do Franklin Falls. We parked at the top of the trail and walked only about half a mile. The place was perfect and after a bit we had the whole place to ourselves. We did hike down stream for a hundred yards or so just to go exploring.
This is a very easy hike. You don't need to bring anything but the basics with you.
