We clocked in at about 1000 feet of elevation gain and about a 6 mile trip. when getting up to the top of the rock, we took the trail to the right. Totally worth it! The views were amazing! It is a bit windy up there, so I reccomend some type of wind breaker. The top is ALMOST completely flat, so don't be discouraged at the amount of elevation to get there. It's not too bad going up, but going down is a little scetchy. Just take it slow and you will be fine. This would be a good family hike for those who have hiked before.
