My four-year-old and I had a lovely day hiking up to the lookout. After the large meadow there was intermittent snow that became rather more consistent on the shady parts of the trail. A bit compacted from the traffic, footwear with traction might be helpful to navigate. The larches are prime. Gorgeous view of the snowy North Cascades and a brisk wind up top. I imagine this will be impassable in a couple weeks!
