We didn't make it all the way to the pass on this beautiful day, because we got sidetracked by viewing bears (they are the specks in the bald area in the photo) from Hannegan Camp and by grazing on all the huge, delicious huckleberries there. But the fall foliage was incredible every step of the way. A great day hike.
