Fall has def moved slowly into winter. Snow & ice occur halfway up. Slippery and chilly. Be sure to wear a hat or hood since snow tends to fall off trees. Beautiful & challenging hike. Minimal switchbacks. Pay that parking fee or bring a pass or you will get a ticket. Parking lot fills up fast.
