Spent the weekend camping at Ida Creek Campground on Icicle Creek. It was a 30 minute drive from the campground to the trailhead. Arrived at 1:30 pm, the parking lot was full and there were cars parked along the side of the road for at least a half mile. We got lucky and someone left as we arrived so we were able to park in the lot. The trail was in good condition, a little muddy in places but snow free. There was a minimal amount of snow off the trail during the latter part of the hike. About 2 miles in you'll come to an intersection with signs pointing you to Colchuck Lake or Stuart Lake, stay to the left. Stuart Lake is still roped off. We stopped to eat our lunch on the way up and made it to the lake just before 4. Enjoyed the views and the larches scattered around the lake before heading back down at 4:20 pm. Made it down in just under 2 hours, and had enough light that our headlamps weren't needed. Besides the amount of people on the trail it was an amazing hike, I would recommend going on a weekday if possible to avoid the crowds on the weekend.
