Gold Creek Pond — Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

Easy walk with beautiful fall foliage - a very short walk (3 min) to gold creek pond with nice views of mountains in the backdrop. Alternates between pavement, boardwalk, and packed dirt. Today was rainy, but scenic and quite pretty nonetheless, with only a couple other hikers. This seems like a trail that would be busy and family friendly on nice days. A stretch of the trail within 10 yards of the parking lot was about a half foot under water, but didn't prevent anyone from coming through. We continued up the trail towards Alaska lake.
