If you were thinking about heading to the falls, now is definitely the time to go! The trail is a bit soggy, as it should be after the weekend weather. The falls itself was absolutely ROARING today! At the bottom of the trail "stairs", there is now a heavy flowing stream, which creates an obstacle for those wishing to experience of the falls from the rocks. Accessible, but waterproof boots would be recommended.
The trail itself had some pools of water, so keep this in mind for tiny hikers especially. I had my 2yr old with me today, and had her walk around them, since she didn't have the proper waterproof gear.
Beautiful little jaunt for my little one and I today. And our little Blue Jay friend followed us again today. Has anyone else had this lovely little creature follow you on this trail? It's the second time that we've enjoyed their company.
