I love this hike. It’s challenging getting up to the flat plateau but rewarding once you get there. The challenging part is all the loose rock you have to walk on. Coming down is even more challenging. Up top. The views. Remarkable. 360 views. I did the loop hike to the right when you get to the split. I could have added more mileage but unsure of where the trail went to I decided not to explore. Next time I’ll come armed with a map. I would love to camp up top. Didn’t see any camp spots though. I will be back for spring flowers. The wheat grass is beautiful though. My dog looked like a wild animal hunting in the Serengeti running through the grass.
