We were blessed with solitude on this Sunday morning hike and our dog blazed the trail through fresh snow. The snow got deeper as we gained elevation. Trail was still great, wide and steep, definitely a thigh burner and you need poles on the way down and microspikes now that there is snow. Best part was the top when the sun broke out and there were no footsteps, not even at the parking lot where you can be lazy and drive to the top. On our way down hikers finally started appearing, some with only running shoes.. folks it's winter in the mountains :)
