Beacon Rock State Park - Hamilton Mountain — Friday, Nov. 24, 2017

Decided to head to a state park today because they don’t require a Discover Pass on Black Friday! I got to the trailhead around 10 am and it was full! I wasn’t the only one with this idea but I didn’t expect anything different. The trail was fairly muddy in spots especially near the waterfall. It was very windy at the top which made it very cold. I was really glad I grabbed my gloves before leaving! The trail was wet and the rocks could potentially be slick to someone without good footwear. It was a good hike. It took my roughly 3 hours to complete it. The views at the top were absolutely stunning!!
