Headed up to the trailhead around 11am. We were definitely in the trailhead of the fall foliage - a lot of bare bushes, but still some beautiful colors! We weren’t sure what the snow situation would be like - we started seeing some on the ground around Hannegan Camp, but the trail was snow free up to the pass (we decided to turn around at that point)! A couple downed trees across the trail provided some obstacles, but not too bad. Overall a perfect day hike! I had hiked this trail earlier on a rainy day, and it was fun to get to see the incredible views on a clear day.
