Beautiful hike to source lake today. Used microspikes the entire way. I posthole a few times but not enough to put on my snowshoed. The trail is in great condition and clearly marked. The lake is almost completely frozen over. I can’t wait to do this hike on a clear day.
The parking lot was pretty empty when we arrived at 9a and when we got back at 1130a there was still plenty of parking.
