I put this as a snowshoe even though we didn't use any. The trail is clear and easy to follow the majority of the way up. Once you reach the snow there is even orange tape to help guide the way. The snowline is around 4,000 and once you break through the trees snowshoes or skis would have been very helpful. We just made sure to hang back behind a group of three people with snowshoes so that the snow was a little more compact. Would have taken much longer if we the first on the trail. We busted through the snow a lot but we had tall gaiters and weren't in any hurry.
The views of Baker, Shuksan, Tomyhoi, and other surrounding peaks were incredible, especially after all of the rainy days we have been having.
Be careful at the top because there is a large cornice. We also noticed a few small snow pinwheels coming down from the summit. Nothing that made us worried but definitely something to be mindful of as there could be potential avalanche danger.
About 2.5 hours up with a 30 minute lunch break and 2 hours down.
