The clouds broke just after noon, so we headed out to discover the cove and get some pictures. The trail was clean and the hike down to the cove was longer than expected, especially with 30 pounds of camera gear. I realized immeditley that I had not brought the correct shoes for a hike in the wetlands.
Overall the area is well maintained and the trail is easy and pleasant for most age groups. The incline to the beach is long and could prove difficult for some. This is a great viewing area for birds and mountains. I came away with some lovely pictures.
