Hurricane Ridge Snowshoe — Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018

We hiked the hurricane ridge trail with snowshoes and poles. We had a 7 year old hike it with us as well. This was my first time snow shoeing and first hike of the year. Good trail for beginners. Trail was well maintained. Lots of people out and about. We hiked 2.75 miles in and turned around because we didn't feel comfortable taking a child on the final hill. Great views the whole way. We lucked out with sunny, partly cloudy weather. Access requires snow chains (even though we didn't need them) and America the beautiful pass.
