My wife and i hiked the old trail up and the new trail down, we both agreed next time we come back to mailbox we would do old up old down. The new trail was just too long. Friday was a beautiful day for a hike skies where clear the sun was shining. The scramble was a bit sketchy for me but not too difficult. Definitely my favorite hike to date.
