Trip Report

Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge — Saturday, Apr. 21, 2018

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

My 2 month old daughter's first hike! (Well, sort of. I just pushed her in the stroller the whole time.) I'd never been here before and loved it! It's an easy hike for families because you can go a few different ways and turn back whenever you'd like, still feeling like you've seen great views. It's a pretty walk right from the beginning. There is also a visitor center and little museum area.

Note: We came on a Saturday and it was packed. We ended up having to park on the side of the road which was fine but just keep that in mind. You don't feel the crowds on the trail though as there are several paths to walk on.
