Got to the trailhead at around 9am and the lot was full, but overflow parking was available right outside the parking lot. Road to the trailhead parking lot is nice; basically any vehicle would make it. Trail is snow free until about 3/4 of the way through. I was in microspikes, which made me feel a little bit more comfortable, but we had someone with us who got up and down without them. We did not have poles, but they would have helped in the snow, which was basically like mashed potatoes yesterday. Some downed trees, but nothing too difficult to navigate around. Steep incline, but beautiful views up top!
