Hiked on a Friday morning.
Road: Snow free.
Parking: We got to the trail head around 10:30am. there were only 4 other cars in the parking lot.
Trail: In great condition. Pretty much snow free up till about 1/8 of the lake then it's all snow from there. The snow got pretty deep so watch your footing. Some sketchy areas by the bridges but nothing too worry about if you becareful. We didn't make it to Ollalie Lake because the snow wasn't compact so we keep sinking in.
View: Talapus Lake is still half frozen. Hard to navigate around the lake due to the snow. We were the only ones at the Lake for a good hour.
Gear: I just had hiking boots. Microspikes would help but not needed up to Talapus Lake.

Photo 4 is really pretty with the fog in the trees. Thanks for the report.
