Hiked Bandera in the fog and drizzle today. The road to Ira Springs Trail head is in amazing shape. The parking lot was full at 9:35 and overflow parking started on the shoulder of the road. We made it up in 2:10. The trail is in great shape. The last mile and a half is the most challenging where you head straight up the side of the mountain and cross into a snowfield. We hung out at the top for about 30 mins and headed back down in about 1:35. I am looking forward to doing it when it’s a sunny clear day!
