Great hike with many wildflowers blooming. Quite a few fallen trees across the trail. Patches of snow closer to the end of the trail. Easy to pass without microspikes. There were quite a few mosquitos at the trailhead. Lots of black flies at the higher elevations, bug nets would be quite useful. The top of the Dirtyface mountain is completely snow free.
Tip: Take swimming suits and towels and stop at the Lake Wenatchee State Part for a refreshing dip in the lake.
