I've stopped here before, but just to take pictures of the bridge. The parking lot (lower portion) is one severe pothole after another, so be careful. Didn't seem that bad 2 years ago but maybe I'm just getting old and can't remember.
The trail is pretty short, but the bugs weren't out yesterday and the stream crossing(s) were easy enough. The larger one is big enough to consider it an "obstacle" for those thinking this is just a dry walk or ADA-accessible.
It's a nice, quick leg-stretcher if you've been driving for awhile or just need something quick to do near Leavenworth with kids or dogs.
It does end somewhat abruptly, so if you feel it was too short, you are right, but you are still out of trail unless you want to scramble and blaze a new trail.
