Very easy hike, no shade so just be mindful to wear sunscreen and bring water. You can hear gunshots from the range and at one point, someone was flying a drone overhead that the kids loved to watch. We ran into a few couples, all pleasant. The trail was clean and mostly flat. The 3 year old complained about halfway through but made it to the end on his own two feet without a problem.
