Lewis River Falls — Friday, Jun. 22, 2018

Southwest Washington > Lewis River Region

Left home a little too late to complete the hike so instead we drove down to the Lower Lewis Falls campground which has direct access to the falls through a small 5 minute trail. It was beautiful, about 74 degrees, clear skies. Water is COLD but tolerable. The river current was a little bit strong so children and dogs should be cautious and held tightly. Overall, what a beautiful sight. 

NOTE: just a few miles down the road from the lower falls campground area, there is a panoramic viewpoint of Mount Hood that is absolutely worth stopping for! I've included a picture :)
