Another wet, drizzly day and another wonderful Washington waterfall. Hiked the short, muddy trail to Sol Duc Falls. Lots of other hikers on a Saturday afternoon. The falls are amazingly beautiful and powerful. Summarized appropriately by a 7 or 8 year old boy who reached the falls ahead of his family: "Wow!! Come look at this!!" The forest and streams along the trail are equally beautiful.
Would recommend good sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting muddy!
