4 amazing days in the Enchantments. Mosquitoes were relentless. We camped at snow lake. Bring layers as even in summer we had snow/rain/wind at elevation. Spikes and ice axe are needed for Dragontail due to steep snow traverse. There is some scrambling to get up to the core from snow lake in a few places from snow lake but manageable for most folks. Pit toilets are available at camp and in the core, some are not easy to find, just keep looking uphill away from the lake or stream, evidently one is still under snow. Water is plentiful the entire way, with a filter there is no need to carry very much. The snow does not start until above Lake Vivian and is intermittent and easy to navigate. Snow bridges are starting to fail over streams and near rocks so be careful of punching through.
