Hiked counterclockwise- about 7.5 hours round trip with breaks included. Once you hit the meadows, you begin to get snowfields beginning with small patches until around 3-3.5 miles when everything is covered in snow. At this point recommend having a GPS map (used the Hiking Project app) to ensure you don’t wander off into the snow away from the trail. Once you hit the deep snow head straight and bear left towards what looks like an island in all the snow- you should see the trail there. Once you get to the Red/Yellow rocks this is your cue to begin looking for a path across the snow towards the next island of scree. I just went straight but there’s other cairns to look for to help guide you. As you cross the snowfield keep your eye out for bootpack and cairns, those two things and a good map will keep you safe! Rest of the trail- including the wonderland- is in solid shape but has overgrowth and fallen trees. Only other thing of note- Ipsut Pass is quite the climb so be prepped!! And write your own trip reports to help update us all on when the snow finally melts!

That climb up from the Carbon River to Ipsut Pass is a killer, for sure. It's a great hike, though.
