Trip Report
Cape Alava Loop (Ozette Triangle) — Tuesday, Jul. 10, 2018
Olympic Peninsula > Pacific Coast
The boardwalks are surprisingly well-maintained, and that was our favorite part of the hike. When we got to the beach, the hike was three miles of loose sand that was annoying and hard to walk in. My sister got terrible blisters from the weird movement of her feet. I highly recommend going at high-tide, and taking the trail that parallels the beach for a good bit instead of walking the beach directly. The camping options on the beach looked amazing and peaceful, like little cloves of paradise.
