We're pretty novice hikers and this was a pretty strenuous climb for us. We arrived at the trail head around 10:30 and the parking was quite full. No privy at the trail head. It took about 1:45 to get up to the top (2 miles, relentless incline), spent about half an hour at the two summits (privy available), then made it back down in an hour. It was a hot day and the trees provided good shade but there was very little breeze. The views were excellent but very little of interest on the actual trail (though when the rhodies are in bloom, it would be lovely).
