Snow is going fast, it's pretty sun cupped and a bit more rock/trail walking but is it getting into late season, overall an enjoyable morning.
Early morning it's still pretty icy. I slipped and had to self arrest, glad I was using my axe, otherwise I probably would have stopped in a rock pile. Helmets and axes may seem silly, and we hope we don't need them, but for the sake of your family and local SAR please use them. Have fun and stay safe.
