Naches Peak Loop is my absolute favorite hike to date. The weather was great, the flowers were blooming, and it was a pretty easy hike. I had read several trip reports prior to hiking the trail, so I brought plenty of bug spray. To my surprise, we didn’t encounter any pesky bugs the entire time we were out so I didn’t end up using the bug spray. We got to the trail at about 11:30 and there was plenty of parking, and the trail wasn’t too crowded. There was one log across the trail that you have to climb over twice (it’s in a switchback) but it wasn’t too bad. I would recommend bringing a map, or reading the trail description for directions as the trail isn’t well marked. We ended up looping around tipsoo lake, across the highway on a bridge, and out on the pacific crest trail for a ways before we turned back.
